I once tested what I could wear to work before getting remarks about it. They drew the line at a Cradle of Filth 'Dead girls don't say no' T-shirt. But other shirts they never commented on :)

Rocks not having a dress code :D

I can almost wear anything I want, any day. Only exception is no shorts, and no vulgar messages.
Haha....and it's a Gov. facility. :)

No Soup for you!

The jeans thing sounds kind of unreasonable. Otherwise, I've come to accept those differences in dress code acceptability as something too trivial to worry about. There is one exception to my indifference though that drives me up the wall...it's those women's shorts that look like suit pants hemmed to mid thigh. If I worked in an office where women wore those regularly, I'd rock an Angus-Young style shorts-suit every day of the week.

Thats because we like looking at women in tight jeans.

I prefer thongs...but you can only go so far in HR.

The problem I have with this is said scantily clad woman proceeds to complain about how cold it is in the office and the temperature needs to be turned up.

OK, 2 exceptions to my indifference. This aggravates me as well.

You could not be more right. I'm over here trying to wrestle with pit-stains and they're talking about lowering the AC.

Now wait a minute here. You have a problem with a dress cose that encourages women to show more skin then men?

Are you gay? (Not that there's a problem with that)

You remind me of the fools that complain about ladies nights at bars.

Most of the time, women in jeans look better than men in jeans
Most of the time, women in mini-skirt look better than men in miniskirt.

Maybe just change job?

Are you really complaining about women wearing mini-skirts? There is a compound in Texas that might want to see your resume. :p

Women jeans = form-fitting.
Men jeans = well, obviously it wasn't a rule for fashion/comfort.

Women can also get away with wearing sandals, I couldnt care less, but you can add it to your list if you want.

I don't know anywhere that a female can wear jeans and male can't.

As long as a female has the body for it, I am all in for short short skirt and tight shirt with unbutton top.
