I started yesterday. Great game so far, the controls took a bit getting use to. Puzzles seems much simpler than the first one, but the story is fantastic.
The only issue i've had... wasn't even mine, but a friend of mine. She had to uninstall Alcohol to get the game to work.
You definitely want to play TLJ to really enjoy Dreamfall... i don't think i would enjoy it nearly as much as i am without the TLJ experience and background. April is in the game, and you do play her, and unless you want to be confused or lost as to what's happening in Mercuria (the manual covers some of it), you really should play TLJ... besides, it's great seeing the difference between TLJ and Dreamfall (you go to the same areas, except there's a 10 years difference).
Fantastic so far. I lovedTLJ so much it's ridiculous, and this is living up to it quite nicely for me.

From the user reviews I've read, the story is great until the ending which is apparently a non-ending.
Does this one still have the adult tone that TLJ did, or has it been cleaned up for the Xbox kiddies? I remember the lesbian character and profanity-vomiting hacker.

Excellent news. I hope the maxed out graphics don't require a minimum of 7800/X1800 hardware. I usually do 1280x1024 on my X800 XT.
He said that even if he couldn't make another game he'd release the story in written form. How much more official can you get?Originally posted by: Looney
I haven't heard of any official word about the sequel, and that blog doesn't confirm it either. But the way the story ended, opened new plotlines... and the only reason why anybody would do that, is if they wanted to raise anticipation for a sequel. I'll also bet the final sequel will be mostly from Kian perspective (not a big surprise really, especially if you've finished the game).
