I know everyone talks about the Oct 2000 or earlier units as
being preferable because they can play burned games. But you know,
I have a December 2000 unit at home that I bought last week for
$32 shipped (including the Sports bundle) on eBay. Just for yucks,
I downloaded and burned a game and...it plays fine...

So I think that whole Oct 2000 thing is a bit more fuzzy than people
are saying...

question about MP3 players and VCD players....

It seems to me that the ones that I find require you to actually put the MP3/Movie you want with the program that plays it on once disc. Is there any MP3 or VCD swap programs in which you put in the MP3 player disc, then put in a disc full of MP3's?
