I think the movie was completely scatterbrained. You probably need to watch it under the influence of the same drugs he was taking when he filmed it in order to decode it. It was entertaining though.

You're lying. You're saying that because you're a kid and it's "cool" to claim to understand something that's not understandable. You probably look at abstract artwork and say, "yeah, I totally understand the emotion in the painting", before finding out that it's just the dropcloth they used to paint the walls of the art museum.

Probably one of the top 10 movies ever made. Peter Sellers is amazing!

So much was taken from that movie and put into other films that it isn't even funny; it's jsut jaw dropping.

One of my favorites.

To this day, I snicker and giggle like a school girl whenever the term "fluoridated water" is brought up. Peter Sellers sitting there horrified listening to those absurd ravings was absolutely hillarious.

GREAT movie.

You know who is really underrated in the movie? George C. Scott. He is a really great comic actor, too bad he didn't do more comedy.

I don't think he is underrated. Everyone I've asked finds him to be hilarious.

I hate beret wearing chin-rubbers like that as much as you do, but I understood the movie just fine. Maybe it would be more understandable to you if you lived during the most heated years of the Cold War? Not that I did, but...

I remember growing up in the 80's when it was still pretty tense. Nothing like it was in the 60's, though.
