I think the movie was completely scatterbrained. You probably need to watch it under the influence of the same drugs he was taking when he filmed it in order to decode it. It was entertaining though.

i completely disagree. makes sense to me...

You're lying. You're saying that because you're a kid and it's "cool" to claim to understand something that's not understandable. You probably look at abstract artwork and say, "yeah, I totally understand the emotion in the painting", before finding out that it's just the dropcloth they used to paint the walls of the art museum.

ignorance is bliss ain't it, boi?!

Dr. Strangelove is satire, recognized for centuries as one of the hardest and most rewarding (to the audience) forms of expression.

Simply because you do not "get it" does not mean that there is not "something to get" or that what was suppossed to "be gotten" by you was retarded.

Simply but, it is an outstanding film, and it is your loss for not being able to appreciate it.

Had you read my post correctly (a stretch, I know), you would've seen that I said it was entertaining. So yes, I did appreciate it.

I probably saw the movie before you were born, too, kid.

Don't take me so seriously. I'm just a pissed off computer geek that's sitting home empty handed on a Friday night.

Dude you're just asking for it...😉

It was very funny before I realized how easy it would be for someone to become president who was no more sane than Jack D. Ripper, and how similarly paranoid actual presidents have been. It's still funny, but no longer absurd.

You have to have lived when the movie was released or love history to truely enjoy the movie.

I did a poll at Rotten tomatoes forums for hte best comedy ever. This won by a land slide. Nothing else was even close!!!

Anyways ... I don't like history so I didn't really find it that funny. It was quite dull ... not to say it was bad becasue it obviously has a following.
