Yea, it does. I just go into the properties of the .exe and can select my OS from a drop down there.

If I try and launch it I get a message stating that there is a known compatibility problem with this program (and Dungeon Siege). If I use XP, XP SP2, or Win2k compatibility and launch the game, I see the resolution drop to 800x600 (I believe that's what it runs at), the opening Blizzard screen comes up, then I'm back at my desktop right after. If I try Win98 compatibility I get some DX error, I forget the exact message.

Just one of those things I guess.

I played both Dungeon Siege and Diablo 2 (with expansion pack too) fine on my old Vista x64 PC,all I did was make sure I had latest DX9.0c version installed and XP compatibility mode(can't remember if I had to run the game as Admin but you can try that ) otherwise no issues that I can remember.

I'm replaying X-COM Apocalypse at the moment on Win7 x64 via DOSBox (now that's an old game).

Dungeon Seige is 8x6 or 10x7 native, You have to force it higher via edit the .ini to go higher, I run 12x10 (As that all my monitor supports at the moment) on Win7 64 with no problems.

Both win7 and Vista support DX9 and up directly, There might be more of an issue with games trying to run in a DX8 or lower version, But I have found most older game like that need Hardware excelleration turned off (Which is backwards of what you wanted in da olden days) and they work fine.
