That recommendation will leave you with a wonderfully-working system until the day it gets hacked.
Are you sure this was a SP4 problem? The information you have given thusfar lead me to believe that the SP4 upgrade process was what had broken your application. It's quite possible that you could have installed SP4 prior to installing your application and had it work correctly. At least than you would have the majority of the OS updates applied.Originally posted by: GDoes
Don't worry guys...I format the box and installed up to SP3 and re-installed all the stuff on top. No big deal...just a couple of hours lost, which is what I was trying to get around to.
