bar soap =/= body wash

I love winter and never had problem until maybe 2-3 years ago. Now the top of my hands gets all itchy and red after I wear gloves. No gloves, my hands might freeze, but no rashes/itchy. I assumed it must be the gloves, so I got new gloves, but still itchy/rashy ... pisses me off!

Boy, after reading drpizzas story I'm glad I don't have dry hands. 😱
Lucky me has hands that almost never dry out. Don't know why. The area beneath my thumbs can get a little chapped if I wash my hands a ton (like if I'm cooking with lots of different stuff) but it's very rare, and they go back to normal in a day. I do drink about 4-8 bottles of water a day though.

I've used Okeefe's stuff, and it has worked quite well for me.

One coworker just recently stumbled upon Vitamin E oil. Suffice it to say her kid encountered some curb rash or whatever and after using Vitamin E oil for a very small time frame, the condition of the skin has improved immensely according to her.

I went ahead and ordered some pure Vitamin E oil on amazon figuring to give that a try. My heels crack very deeply and sting quite a bit once they get to a certain point. i've put what I have of the O'Keefe's hand stuff there, and it does seem to work, but figure why not try something else.

Shouldn't you be headed down this way soon? It'll be a little cool for you but it's damn cold for us. We just broke a 100+ year record.

Put some liquid plaster on, then trim around the crack once it's healed up a bit.

Oddly enough, I was perfectly fine when I was back in IA with the crazy winters.
