I don't see them often anymore but I could never understand why people put that tint on their headlights and tail lamps.

Lowered too far, HIDs, gaudy chrome rims that are too big, tint, grills, and temp tags. Esp if it's a younger driver in a BMW or Mercedes, 3x if its a cheap one. Tilted sunroof on these cars is the equivalent of a popped collar or backwards cap on a car. These are the most likely to be seen in your rear view weaving through traffic pushing and shoving and cutting off ecconoboxes thinking they are somebody. I love when they pull their shit when I'm in the Cobra, I even slow down to try and get caught at a yellow just so they can get next to me and they start inching and creeping like they have a chance. Its like beating a wannabe pimp with his own pimp cane, then breaking it in two and sticking it in their ass.

It never fails, there is always that one pair of hids in the back that is weaving back and forth and causing a scene.

I wonder what happened to all the blue LED's on the windshield washers. Seemed like 1 year everyone had them, now they are gone.
I have them. Even have a spare set on hand, but these OPTX brand lights last a long time.

I honestly don't mind ricer mods. I even give a thumbs up to those who do it well.

However, there are some mods that just don't make sense.

1. Staggered wheel sizes for a FWD car... I mean... wtf?
2. Summer performance 35/30 tires on a truck or any body-on-frame vehicle
3. Lowering by cutting springs
4. Extreme color scheme

Other than that, everything else is tolerable.

It may look silly, but apparently it does help performance. They only people I have heard of who do it only use the staggered setup on the track though.

'Hella Flush' mods kill me... they take a car with perfectly good suspension geometry, wheels, and tires, and then just say "well, I'm sick of my car handling well, lets make it handle like crap, wear out tires, and just generally screw everything up." :'( poor cars...

I know the Pontiac Grand Prix GXP used larger tires in the front to help deal with torque steer.

What do you mean by "hella flush"?

Slicks and skinnies look hilarious on a fwd car, but then those aren't "look at me I'm more baller than you" mods, they are ugly steelies and only there because they *have* to be. :awe:

I hate HID lights with a passion. When I was in school, seeing some dumbass driving a range rover or bmw/mercedes/lexus SUV.

I'll try to get a pic next time I see him, but there's a DC2 integra driver who I see on my way to work pretty frequently with the ziptied/riveted full body kit, rattle-can paint job(it's matte yo), and NO hood.

You might ask yourself, why would this guy remove his hood, exposing his VTECyo to the elements and possible mechanical vandalism? Simple, without the fundage to splurge for a clear hood of somesort, there is simply no better way to display his "red" valve cover and it's inherent JDM-ness. Don't get too close though, very easy to see the brush strokes of the master painter and his nail polish handiwork.

I think it means using aftermarket wheels with a really low offset or just adding spacers to put the wheels flush with the fenders. See this:

HellaFlush&

Some people think it looks cool I guess. In reality what it does is it ruins the car's handling and causes it to bottom out all the time.

Sometimes it's also combined with extreme negative camber – the wheels are tilted so the tops are closer together than the bottoms. This causes the tires to wear more quickly and unevenly.

It's basically the automotive equivalent of wearing a gigantic crooked baseball cap or sagging your jeans. You have to be retarded to think it looks good and any normal person will recognize how fucking stupid you are if you do it.

OK, I think that S13 looks good. I hate the flat grey colour, but with a nice paint job I would be happy to own that car. Takes all sorts.

I doubt that 240 is bottoming out much...that suspension probably has the same travel as stock.

The camber is hardly extreme as well.

What do you drive? Miss Daisy?

24"+ Chrome wheels on sedans/coupes that cause the car to be lifted. Looks horrible, makes it slower, worse gas mileage and handling, and often the wheels/tires are worth more than the car theyre on.

Have a co-worker like this, has fully restored a classic Chevelle, new upgraded engine, trans, paint etc. He wants 26"+ Chrome wheels on it.

HID retrofit kits and headlights that aren't the standard halogen color. Let's take one of the most important things on a car and wreck it cause "it needs to look tight yo!" Morons.

Fire extinguisher in a base civic. Is it really going to burst into flames on you?

The Mexicans are really bad down here. They don't have enough money to do anything right, so the car is always mismatched or half done. However, rims are stolen and traded around so every car has something over-sized and chromed.
