Before I answer the door.... I grab my 9mm Glock and put it on my pants in front like a thug. I turn my cap backwards and pickup a 40oz of Shlitz Malt Liquor. 🙂

But seriously.... I have a security camera so if I don't recognize them I don't answer.

I actually never answer my door ><

I often don't answer the door,but when I do;

the person at the door see's a 260lb man at the door looking very unhappy;

saying "WHAT?? How can I help YOU?"

It seems to work for me.😉

Heck half the time, they are already gone,by the time I get to the door anyways.

My G/F has a key,to the lock,so I don't worry about it being anyone important.

Trick or treaters,i leave the porch light off,they know don't bother.

Happy Halloween too soon. 🙁

The problem is that they don't take a "no thanks" so you have to be rude to get them to shut the fvck up and leave. My advice? Tell them to hang on a minute while you go grap some old junk you don't want and then turn around and try to sell it to them.

Simple, I don't answer the door.

I don't either. My philosophy is this: if you're not considerate enough to let me know you're coming, don't expect me to be considerate enough to drop what I'm doing to answer the door.

You've obviously never been harrassed/visited (same thing) by a salesman.

"sorry, not interested". repeated a few times if needed. so far they've always taken the hint and left. we don't get them very often here though. mostly just jehovah's witnesses
