I don't label myself a prepper but Im likely going steel reinforced 16" concrete and spancrete for exterior walls and roof of my next house. With laminated polycarbonate windows and full frame ram proof doors. Everything proof. Just because.

Just the idea that I can flip a bird to angry mobs and SWAT teams alike amuses me. They don't have tomahawk missiles yet.

All they'll need to do is pump tear gas, or smoke, down you vent stack.

a month? Most of my staples will last beyond that.

I live in a hurricane zone though and don't get government assistance.

If you have ever been through an actual hurricane then you would know that FEMA generally arrives in a few days and they give food (MRE's), cases of water and ice out to any and everyone. They don't check your ID or ask for tax returns or give a fuck how nice your vehicle is, they just help you load your food/water/ice and send you on your way.
 
I roasted some nice peppers tonight with a light aoili drizzle that was fantastic!


I may be installing a couple of solar panels is that prepping?
