I hate to say this cause it happened here. But people who communicate on the internet and never ever meet face to face with these folks are fools to get all serious. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO IS ON THE OTHER COMPUTER. And a lot of folks here learned that the hard the way. While things like this in way can be hilarious, when people develop these so called "relationships" over the internet they kinda leave themselves open to being made a fool of which is not funny. I have meant several folks from off this board and other various ones, but I don't get all carried away with making relationships with people off the internet. Folks who do that need to get a damn life.
You know... I used to agree with that thought, but I stopped a while ago. I know quite a few couples that met over the internet, finally got together for pizza & drinks (or whatever) one day, and they've lived happily ever after... married to each other. I can think of a couple of people that I care a lot about, one of which I've not yet met in real life; the other I've met only once, and briefly at that. If either of them (or a couple of other people I'm not quite as close to) completely dropped off the face of the earth... you'd better believe I'd cry foul, and I'd probably do more than many would, trying to figure out what the fvck happened.
I agree that it's not funny if someone's made fun of online... and yes, you do somewhat leave yourself open to that by having an online relationship with someone. Is it worth it? Not to a lot of people. But to some? Definitely.
looks like you and moshquerade should get together!
Sorry, sweetie, we're incompatible.
