Why is everybody calling this dude a "Boxer"? Flailer would be more accurate, I admire his courage but his boxing skills suck. In his flurry of punches he doesn't land a single solid blow. Had this guy been a real trained boxer he would have taken about 4 punches and both the perps would have been on the ground unconcious. One solid punch with a bare fist = KO
He has CLEARLY had some pretty damn good training in the ancient art of pugilism. CLEARLY.

In the heat of the moment, he showed damn good form, and landed a far higher percentage of his punches than usually happens in a spontaneous street dust-up. Most street fights sans other weapons that I've seen feature FAR more off the mark flailing and usually end up in a lot of clutching and grunting and falling together to the ground.

You, sir, have simply seen too many Hollywood movies.

No, I've seen too many one punch and out street fights. I grew up in a rough neighborhood, half the guys I ran with were Golden Glove boxers, one being three time state champ. And I've spent the last 20yrs reffing Golden Glove matches so I'm fairly qualified to access boxing ability.
I agree the guy did good for an average guy in a random situation, but obviously not a trained fighter.
I disagree vehemently, but will respect your opinion, as it seems to be knowledge-based.

"Half the guys I ran with were Golden Gloves boxers" does send up a bit of a red flag on my BS meter, though.

What specific neighborhood of what municipality did you grow up in, and when?

Edit:And again, to my eye, that guy showed damn good random street fight form. I say he's spent some time in the gym, being trained. If I had to make a critique at all, I'd say he didn't "close" on each mook fast enough and near enough for his punches to have maximum effect.

But, hey, my REAL point is that it is far too easy to sit back and ciritique his style as a comfy spectator. In the heat of the moment, most of us (and I HAVE seen this on a fair number of occassions over the course of my life) look pretty damn silly and random in a street fight.

He didnt even continue to hit them, if he was just looking for a fight he would have stayed there until there was plenty of blood on the ground.
My Analysis of this footage, very thorough.

If this is not acting.. let me say this.
1. No, the girlfriend was not hit in the face, but in her body (a thump sound)
2. For the guy who "hit" the girl it would be hard to see the girl. The only possible explanation to ur theory would be that his friend told him to hit her or something like that..
3. If those 2 guys really wanted to fight they would attack this guy back. They did not make attempt to hit him back, they were in defensive position, this yellow stripe guy surprised them.
4. Why they were walking so close to them, about 1 ft to them.
5. The yellow stripe dude's reaction time was impossibly quick for this type of situation. Normal reaction would be to assess the situation and say wtf or something.Either he was planning on it or he knew those guys and they were acting.
6. His girlfriend hasnt even started recoiling from the hit and the yellow stripe guy already was throwing a fist at the white coat guy.
7. Guy in the leathercoat, his palms are open/hands down = not trying to pick a fight, pleading to stop the attack/explain.
8. Before he hit the girl, his feet dont tense up or getting a good stable base. Doesn't look pre-meditated.
Both of those guys got hit in the face 1 weak connected punch each, he basically pushed them to the ground.
Another possible explanation is this is shens, actors :p

2, if you actually look, the guy in the white jacket turns to the left right before he hits the girl, as if hes looking to see where she is.

4, if you saw your buddy getting his ass kicked, completely dominated, would you want to fight him to? Also the guy in white comes back for a second round trying to get a shot in, but doesnt.

5/6, no it wasnt before she recoiled, her body was just coming back up from the hit and thats when he started moving to hit. If you ever see boxers, they can move very quickly and thats what he did.

7, ya, he probably had nothing to do with this.

8, this isnt a movie, people dont get knocked out the first time they get hit. The body can take a lot of damage without showing any of it (atleast immediatly), and it takes a lot of momentum to knock a person off their feet with one punch (more than most people cna do, without making them unconcious).

This is officially the most retarded thread I have ever read on ATOT.

Everyone here has 15 minutes to analyze the situation. If you're a trained fighter you have what they like to call "balls" so walking on the same side of the street is not a problem. If someone hits your girlfriend i would hope you have the balls to hit them back. Taking on 2 guys at once is within the capabilities of a trained fighter.

Especially when they're drunk off their ass. I bet it makes the asskicking even more fun :D.

i don't know why anyone would say the yellow guy wasn't completely justified. your a dumb@ss or a pvssy to wait to see if they apologize after something as clearly intentional as that. why the fvck else would your throw your arm around like that if you weren't planning on hitting someone.

This thread 3/10. Actually you are right, one of those guys swung the arm on purpose (but not in the face like some of you think)

This is true...
