That's absolutely pathetic.

Those taking offense at illusion88 replace black kids with ghetto kids and it's quite accurate

Peace

Shake it like a saltshaker then!

How long do you think it'll take for some study to come out saying you shouldnt shake your salt shakers because the cap might come off and you'll end up with a mound of salt on your food? 😛

Considering the demographic that OutKast aims for... just give it a little time.

Demographic? Girls with tight booties who love to shake it?

I was thinking poor, stupid, black kids who cant get any smarter cause they go to inner city public schools and thus will always be supid, poor, and shaking polaroid pictures.

Yeah, no kidding. Sorry, illusion, not everyone was so lucky to grow up rich in the suburbs like you. Go back to your little teen-angst whining.

So you're saying that inner city schools are bastions of learning and should be held up as a shining example of what all schools should be like?

I don't see what people are so pissy about. I read illusion88's posting as a commentary on an inner city school problem, not a ancestral one.

When you threatened to leave these forums I actually got a little excited. Please follow through on your threat.

hmmm, that's odd, perhaps you should take off those sunglasses while you're reading inside 😉
It's pretty obvious what my words meant, I'm still wondering what Illusion's mean...

I wear my sunglasses at night...:music:

I think you give him far too much credit. "People who listen to Outkast are stupid black kids in city schools who will just grow up to be stupid black adults." That's hardly a thesis statement to an essay on impoverished schools. It's just a stupid joke that blew up in his face.

Because everyone who's anyone watches the Grammys
rolleye.gif

It's the music industry's biggest award. I would say that anybody who's anybody in the music industry watches the grammy's. Not to mention 26+ million tv viewers. Oh and "Hey Ya!" has been on the billboard top 100 for 19 weeks.

So given the above I'd say if you haven't heard of outkast you probably live under a rock or don't watch tv or don't listen to the radio.
