All you have to do is click on the link normally... The window will pop up and say that the page is unavailable blah blah blah... Now, in the left of the URL bar at the top of your browser, you will see the IE symbol over a little piece of paper... Click and drag this 'e' and piece of paper over and drop it on to the URL in the address bar... I know this has been told before, but most people haven't been using it, and it is very convenient...

Practice here 🙂

not only does it work, but it also causes your mail program to report that you have new mail. now THAT'S cool.

(results not typical 🙂)

thanks though-I'd forgotten that one

<< An even better way to do it, assuming you use IE, is to just drag the original link to the address bar. >>

That's a good one I didn't know about either 🙂

the next question now is whether or not memebers will notice this thread and post actual links now that they are conditioned to not make links, i think mods should leave this at the TOP, anyone else agree?

danny~!

Never hurts to have some helpful info stuck to the top for a while. Or we could just keep bumping it like we are!

So Russ what kind of beretta were you wanting a gun or a 70's cop show? 😀

You know something even easier is when you upload your pic to geocities give it something other than a .jpg extension. Might I suggest picture.txt Then you can link directly to it and your browser will recognize it as a picture and display it properly. No cutting, pasting, or dragging, just click and it works. Next time name your pictures and link to them as picture.txt
