Donate Blood?

I do it now and then, free cookies are good. I kinda dig that warm feel of the tube with your blood in it snaking down to the bag 🙂
 
i barf/puke/passout/go into mild shock when they take those tiny blood samples for tests, if they took a whole pint , i would surely die

I've given it a few times. I expect the blood to be there when I need it so I think I should give when possible. They rejected me for low iron last time I went though.

My blood is the most useless donor, got to love being AB+. Only AB+ people can use my blood but I can take anybody's!
 
Donated once, the woman didnt know what she was doing. Left me with a big bruise on my left arm. Tried to the other arm told her No! My bruise lasted for a month, it was nasty. This was like 6 years ago, thinking of donating again but too scared.
 
i tried it once... i'm so terrified of needles sticking in my body for long periods of time. quick shots i dont care, but i usually get pale and sweaty from people sticking needles into my body for what seems like forever.

 
I'm not allowed to donate blood. If i do..I'd probably faint and die from blood loss.


Sucks...back in senior year of hs...I was reading the pamphlets..all excited that I was 17 and able to donate blood...and I see...

"MUST BE 110LBS AND OVER" or something like that...

I was totally crushed...I only weigh 103!! 🙁 Me so sad.
 
Whenever the blood mobile comes around to where I work, probably 3 times a year, so I guess around 14-16 times. I have type o negative (like the band name) blood. Everyone wants my blood b/c I'm the universal donor. However it is my understanding that I can only take type O blood so I hope I never need to get any.

Edit: and if you don't give blood b/c you are scared or think you'll faint, stop being such a pansy a$$, sack up, and do it you can save lives and then I don't have to give so much of my own 😉
