You think that someone who would spend nearly 1500 dollars on two of these in crossfire, a suitable power supply, and a multi monitor setup, is worried about the increase in his electrical bill? You have utterly missed the point that a number of other posters have made clear (again, now) that was made abundantly clear back then to boot. So, I'm not sure what you hoped to accomplish with this post I'm quoting.

Simply put, people love taking things out of context. But hey, take one thing out of its original context and stick in a different context and you get to have an illusively clever post.

Mabe it was the heat and noise he was talking about?

Then again you could just watercool them if you had that kind of money, just like a gtx480.

I don't think a $1500 graphics setup is the same as 480 price wise and ask Castiel, just cause you have the money doesn't mean you want to bother with watercooling.

This is unofficial information from AMD slides? I think its as official as it gets.

This makes little sense to me. People photoshop and make fake screen caps all the time.

That is why folks want to know the source of the claimed info when it is posted in thread titles.

donanimhaber posting/hosting supposedly legitimate AMD slides is a LOT different from AMD actually posting them on their website or presenting them publicly.

Until AMD actually authenticates the slides hosted by donanimhaber we can only speculate on the ramifications of the slides being true, and the possibilities of them being fake.

Speaking of power supplies, whats it going to take to run two of these?

1.2KW?

Seeing as 2 overclocked cards could pull 900W then there's the rest of the system and you have to leave some headroom for the PSU.
