Things seem to be looking up actually. Properly leveraged the SCOTUS situation could provide increased gains in Congress and having the ability to legislate and control procedure and what can come to the floor is invaluable. Trump can veto and that will merely add to the power of Dems over Reps if they value having any role in Congress come 2020. This presupposes that the Dems don't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once again

Yes, that's exactly the proper treatment/outcome for an ectopic pregnancy. To not abort such a pregnancy is a death sentence for the mother. Of course, one must understand what an ectopic preg. is......the fertilized egg embeds itself outside the uterus, meaning somewhere in the abdomen....like on the outside of the uterus or on the intestines or wherever it can attach. Such a pregnancy will kill the mother if not ended.

BTW....what libel law did this doctor break? I don't think you understand libel/slander laws.

What I'm saying is, I am unconvinced its possible to perform such an procedure while nobody notices it's not actually an ectopic pregnancy. But I'm no expert, could be wrong.

To claim to be an employee of a (commercial?) body while saying something outrageous that would damage the reputation of that organisation seems to me like something that would lead to legal action. But they had the word 'parody' appended to the end of their twitter handle, so that would presumably get them out of it. And as I say, I know the US libel laws are far less harsh than the UK's (which are notorious for making it difficult to say anything negative about anyone with the money to sue).

Just seemed in questionable taste to me. It's not just 'Trump supporters' it could affect, it seems insensitive to anyone who's actually had such a pregnancy (or suffered medical malpractice). In kind of the same way that using threats of rape against conservatives isn't just wrong becuase it will upset conservatives.

But I suppose it's a sign of how divided and vitriolic things have become. I just struggle to see what 'good' resolution there can be at this point when each half of your country seems to hate the other half so much. Like I said, I thought the Brexit row was bad, but the US seems to be in an even worse state.
