What? Obama was a good "politician", in that he said what people wanted to hear. As a president, he was terrible, leaving a mess and a country that was worse for the years of mismanagement.
His ideas were premature, society was not in a state where they worked. If you doubt this, !@#$ Donald Trump being elected is proof enough. You have to be really, really bad at your job to cause your party to lose to an egomaniac, womanizer, possible-racist, with no political experience.
