How would you explain the difference between him and you? What were you born with that you recognize in him or that you see in yourself that is different from him? Is it genetic? Is it a cosmic curse? Perhaps also, you find such reflections that explain human behavior as I suggested cut too close to the bone. The think about acting our of unconscious feelings and especially trying to avoid seeing them, is that while you can easily persuade yourself your behavior is neutral, it's obvious to others who have faced more of themselves they also once sought to avoid.

Wouldn't it be something if you also hate yourself at a deep and hidden level of feelings when the objective reality is that there's nothing wrong with you. So are you upset or relieved at the good news?
Short answer is that I don't have a maniacal desire for power over others and don't swallow every little lie that's shoved down my throat. And hey, a little self hate isn't such a bad thing (not a lot though, that would indeed suck). I would dearly like to see the demise of Mike and his ilk, and would definitely revel in it. I guess that makes me a bad person for wishing ill on another human being, but I can live with that.

Whether those lawyers should have taken the case or not, they have an absolute right to withdraw if he's really millions in arrears, which I don't doubt. Everyone is entitled to be compensated for their work and if you get too far behind, they'll be allowed to withdraw.

Sorry Mikey. No other law firm will take you when the last one withdrew during an active litigation because you didn't pay them for a year. You'll just have to represent yourself. Now you get to have a fool for a client just like they did.

Yet another lawsuit against Fox News. Keep 'em coming!!
In the suit moved to federal court Monday, producer Jason Donner said he was part of a “purge” of employees who refused to only report information that would “appease” former President Donald Trump and his supporters.

Donner was inside the Capitol when the mob of Trump supporters breached the building. When he heard Fox News reporting that rioters were “peaceful” and “severely disappointed,” he called the control room, using expletives as he said, “you’re gonna get us all killed,” the suit states.

Smartmatic just got a influx of money from Reid Hoffman to help smartmatic weather the costs to fight fox news

Smartmatic was also successful in subpoenaed Fox News exec…

As far as newsmax. Smartmatic filed motion for spoliation sanctions against newsmax.

Hey thanks for the update; this lawsuit is moving molasses - thought it would be further along by now. I hope that the agreement with Reid Hoffman forces a trial or at least for fox to verbosely admit to the public what they did. Not some little one liner at the end of a newscast.

Both these companies (fox, newsmax) should be ashamed of their behavior and out right knowingly lying to the public.

Before one can feel ashamed of their behavior, they must first have some standards to stoop below.

Why isn't this person's law license at least suspended?

Pro-Trump lawyer removed from Dominion case after leaking documents to cast doubt on 2020 election

Pro-Trump lawyer Stefanie Lambert has been disqualified from representing Overstock.com founder Patrick Byrne in a defamation lawsuit brought against him by Dominion Voting Systems.

"In a separate case, Lambert has been charged in Michigan with four felonies for accessing voting machines in a search for evidence of a conspiracy theory against Trump. She was arrested by U.S. Marshals earlier this year after a Michigan judge issued a bench warrant for missing a hearing in her case.

Along with a local clerk in Michigan, Lambert has also been charged with multiple felonies, including unauthorized access to a computer and using a computer to commit a crime, after transmitting data from a local township’s poll book related to the 2020 election.

Lambert has pleaded not guilty in both cases. "

My guess after the appeal process plays out a formal complaint will be submitted to the bar association and she will face disbarment - however the process takes too long to play out - look how long it took to disbar Giuliani... way too long for the dishonesty he displayed before the courts.

A lawyer that is charged with violating laws about how lawyers should behave and conduct business should not be allowed to continue to do so.

Let’s say I file suit against a city for the DA engaging in misconduct and in retaliation they cook up some charges against me. Should I lose my law license and ability to continue with the suit?

For some reason the right appears gets treated with kid gloves.
Victim mentality elides easily, in my opinion, into threatening behavior as the rage and violence associated with it is easily internally rationalized. Self preservation in the face of potential violence makes cowards of us all. We have to wait until the victim mentality grows among liberals and they become the same. This won't be so easy for liberals as it is for conservatives. Rage, as it happens, is a form of stupidity and liberals fear being seen that way.

I wouldn’t agree with that. You don’t automatically take away someone’s livelihood because charges are filed against them.
Because such licenses have STANDARDS. Legality of conduct is absolutely not the same as the standards that these people are held up to - it's much higher than legality. Those licenses provide a certain 'power' above the rest be it because of expertise or risks to health. Think of medical licenses. Once you no longer abide by standards that come with your profession, it's only fair to face the possibility of losing such 'power.'

Who should decide that? That's a different discussion. That's why they have boards and such things. Broke the rules of the game? Be prepared to lose. Otherwise, we have chaos and fraudsters... But then again such a system is only as good as the people enforcing it. And so then, we should question the moral competency of those. Anyway, so many words just to say: "Play stupid games, win stupid prices." 😉

Sounds like the DA should be removed/disbarred in this case but we know how that goes 🤭

So despite no misconduct being proven they should lose their livelihood? Does that apply to all jobs?

Surely there are some jobs where people are suspended and not able to work if they are facing charges? I thought it was the case for teachers and social workers, for example. Cops too?
Don't know if they still get paid or not, though.
