Since you wouldn't be squatting, it shouldn't be an issue from that direction.

The only legal question that I can think of is whether you would be using a MS trademark to generate business. But it doesnt sound like it since nobody would really guess that URL randomly.

I dont see why there would be a problem, but with these things you can never be too sure.

I've posted on this before.... basically, the legal waters around this subject are extremely murky right now, with conflicting rulings on similar cases all over the place.

Bottom line is, if you do it in good faith and not as a squatter, the worst that can happen is that MS forces you to give up the domain -- if you choose not to fight them.

Not too long ago, I had www.f*cklesschwab.com, and they couldn't sue me, or at least, their lawyers wouldnt try. It is kind of a murky issue. Since Werk bought it, I guess he has to worry about it. (chuckles)
