Dog tied to tree and repeatedly shot with the same arrow!

Anyone who's ever used a real bow knows that an arrow (even a training arrow with no tip) would go right through a dog. Hell, it would go right through a person. If it was a broadhead it would leave a wicked hole on it's way through. In otherwords this was probably just a couple shots, if that - Not some hour long torture session with only a few inches of penetration.

That being said, if they were trying to "put it out of it's misery" there are far better ways than a bow. Most people have never shot one, let alone well enough to reliably dispatch an animal. If it were necessary, a gun would have been a far better choice. Heck, even an axe through the heart would be more efficient.

As others have said, it's pretty sad when a dog gets this much attention but women & children can be abused & nothing gets said or done.

My thoughts as well.

I wish they would define "repeatedly" for us. Was it 2 or 10 times. And could it be that case that the dog died after the first shot, but these chuckleheads kept shooting it for fun or to "make sure it was dead?"
