HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!
Sorry, the visual was too much...is the dog still alive? No, not from peeing on electrical equipment, but from the boot to the head...

This dog does sh*t like this all the time. I'm just disappointed that's all. Remember, never get a JRT.

Horatio, the assailant murdered the boot disk after leaving a urine sample at the crime scene.

The case looks..... definitely pissed.

There was a bearing going out in the drive but only dogs can hear that high pitch sound.

The dog was trying to help by lubricating the bearing.

I wonder if you can get it replaced under warranty?

"Umm sir, we received your drive and we are sorry to inform you that your warranty has been voided due to the drive being drenched in what appears to be urine..."

LOL! We had a Jack once...little SOB "killed" all my patio plants, shrubs, and my japanese maple collection...not from peeing on them, they were "trespassing on his yard", so he killed them...the final straw was when the little SOB ate the living room carpet...or at least a strip of it about 8" wide X 10 feet long. ****** carpet yarn all over the dammed place...All while my wife was in the shower...not like he was home unattended all day...He went to live with a nice farm family in the foothills...Great dogs, just too headstrong and hyperactive for town life...

I took out my gf to a nice steakhouse that night right after we walked him. We brought back a large doggy bag of half leftover porterhouse. I don't think I did anything to piss him off.

I came home, turned on my computer..wouldn't boot..system disk not found..I check for weird noises..none so I grabbed my flashlight and looked at the connections to see if anything got loose..found out my dog let something else loose.

Bottom of my Lian Li case was drenched in piss as with other parts, especially my 250GB SATA Seagate. I pretty much knew it was shorted out but let it dry anyway and tested it..still no joy.

I'm wondering if Seagate would honor a return...

It probably would have worked had you waited until it dried before you turned it on. You likely shorted out the HD's circuit board.

Thank you Captain Obvious. I wouldn't have turned it on if I knew about it in the first place. It's not like it's standard protocol to do a 10 point pre-flight checklist prior to turning on a home PC. Sheesh...
