little bit pissed - luckily I run daily backups but still it's a PITA.

Yep it's already Monday alright......

dogs only pee on your sh1t when they are mad at you.... so what you do to him?

I took out my gf to a nice steakhouse that night right after we walked him. We brought back a large doggy bag of half leftover porterhouse. I don't think I did anything to piss him off.

I came home, turned on my computer..wouldn't boot..system disk not found..I check for weird noises..none so I grabbed my flashlight and looked at the connections to see if anything got loose..found out my dog let something else loose.

Bottom of my Lian Li case was drenched in piss as with other parts, especially my 250GB SATA Seagate. I pretty much knew it was shorted out but let it dry anyway and tested it..still no joy.

I'm wondering if Seagate would honor a return...

It probably would have worked had you waited until it dried before you turned it on. You likely shorted out the HD's circuit board.

Thank you Captain Obvious. I wouldn't have turned it on if I knew about it in the first place. It's not like it's standard protocol to do a 10 point pre-flight checklist prior to turning on a home PC. Sheesh...

Well now you know better.

:D

Wish I had pics to share with you but I was way too busy cleaning my case, processing a return and kicking my dog's ass. In short, you're a moron with a boring, eventless life and I'm a moron for keeping my case wide open to accidents : )
