I just spent some time at the hospital this morning getting stiches in my head. My wife has this habbit, and has had it for the 16 yrs I've known her, that she never closes things. Like doors, cabinets etc. For example this morning in our kitchen, she ALWAYS leaves cabinets part-way open. WTF?! It was closed when you got to it, so fvcking close it when you're done w/ it!
I know, you're thinking after 16 yrs of being w/ her I should be more careful or know it's going to happen. But I'm to stubborn or something. So, anyway this morning is the 5th time that I have ended up w/ stiches in my head because she left something open. I was putting stuff in the dishwasher, she got a cereal bowl and of course left the cabinet open, I stood up and WHAM! split the back of my head open! And then she yells at me for punching the fvcking cabinet shut while the blood pours down the back of my head.
So what little tick does your SO have that pisses you off?

ha, funny, my wife does the same thing. still can't figure it out - is it that hard to close the door/drawer/cabinet? does it really take that much effort and time? interestingly, whenever i bug her about it, she always says, "i wasn't done using the room/drawer/cabinet". like it would be that hard to open the door/drawer/cabinet again?!

along similar lines if she's got something she needs to take to another part of the house, rather than just take it there and put it away, she'll leave it a the top/bottom of the stairs or by the door to the garage. then she'll proceed to go up/down the stairs a million times, walking right past the items she's left there earlier. this results in growing piles of stuff waiting to be put away/thrown out/whatever. it's really wierd - almost like she can't see it or something. and once again, would it be that hard to just put the thing away while it's in your hand?!

This one cracks me up about my wife. She can spend all day furiously cleaning, vacuming, folding clothes or whatever. But when she is done, she leaves all her cleaning supplies laying all over the house and doesn't put them back up when she's done with them

edit: The last sentence was brought to you by the department of redundancy department. 😀

huh, my wife does that one too.

My wife insists on a clean kitchen ... fair enough, everything into the dishwasher or the sink to be washed. Yet she manages to leave dishes all over the house to avoid having to load the dishwasher or do the dishes.

Aaaargh! Just thought of something worse. Clipping her nails in bed. Always causes a fight!

I'm sure I have many more annoying habits she could list about me though.

She has a habit of eating off my plate...

that's not annoying, we do that all the time. either that, or scoop up some of own own food and give it to the other. maybe sharing is the asian way.

that's grounds for divorce in my book. you know there are women out there that you don't have to put with that kind of insane/loony crap from.

WTF!!!!

That's just not right. put your foot down dude. "clip your nails in an appropriate spot or get the F out."

I mean....clipping nails in bed. Tell her skanky, tacky ass to do that outside of the bedroom - preferably outside.

my gf of 16 months always lags when we go out, even though out of all her roommates, she lags the least.

"lags"?

Maybe you should flush her cache and get her a faster processor?
