Does your LCD monitor have a dead pixel??

1 stuck on blue pixel on my laptop. It's on the far right so it's not really noticable. You can only see it on a black screen.

I have a pixel that is borked. It will go wierd colors when I game but for browsing and stuff, its works right. The LCD is 4/5 years old, so I don't mind.

Niether of my Dell 2005FPWs have dead pixels thank goodness. My Powerbook has 0 dead pixels but my IBM Thinkpad X31 has 3 stuck green pixels.

Try the dead pixel cleaner?

Anyone else get an insane amount of popups on this link? My blocker blocked most of em, but still...

If so, my bad. Avant Browser blocks them all, so I wouldn't know. 😉

No pixel problems here.
Samsung 213T, Samsung 173N.

The only pixel problem I would gingerly accept is a dead (stuck off) subpixel. Stuck on subpixels are completely unacceptable.

No dead pixels, but I have over 3000 stuck pixels. I don't mind them, I hardly notice them.

wuh?

remeber sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet.

I have three equally spaced lines of stuck pixels (they're grey, didn't know that was possible, but they are). They divide my monitor into 4 sections. I really do hardly notice them. 🙂

i noticed one when i got my LCD, but i stopped looking for them as it was the 6th LCD i received and dell wasn't going to take it back after that. i guess that was my fault for buying a refurb LCD monitor. 😛

ok i downloaded it and am running it... hope it works 😱

it did not work 🙁

Did you let it run all the way through?

Well, I tried. :

not one. but thats why one never should buy online if one cares about such things. easy exchange is a must for lcds. a good idea is probably to open the sucker in your car, run it off inverter and check it with a laptop before you even bother driving home.

Not so easy if you're buying online...
