Does your LCD monitor have a dead pixel??

I have two Viewsonic VX715's, and not a dead pixel between the two! I think I got lucky though...

My old Powerbook G4 did develope a stuck pixel after about 6 months however.

got a good 9 months so far on dell lcd and dell laptop and neither has any dead pixel

Mine has one stuck green pixel, but I never see it because it's in the taskbar and the blends in perfectly. The only time I see it is during dark loading screens. Even then I have to consciously look for it.

I don't think I ended up posting back to this after I picked up my Hyundai L90D+. I found a bricks and morter location for Tigerdirect and went there to have them open the box and check for me. The guy said that it's not uncommon to go through 3 or 4 before finding a good one. We found one first go no problems and I've been pretty happy with it for the past 2 months.
