I'm confused...
What is the "foolproof" method for video card driver installation under Win XP???
I've read different things around the net...
It seems as though detonator destroyer is not to be used if you have Win XP? Perhaps I don't understand, but it seems that some say you can just NOT bother uninstalling the previous driver and that XP is "smart enough" to remove all the old driver residue as it installs the new driver? Or... Is this a case of just using the "Uninstall" feature in XP to remove the driver... Or is it a case of using the destoyer to get the best results (some have said that detonator destroyer will not work with XP or if it does, it was not meant for this operating system).
Can anyone provide a definitive answer before I screw up my machine with a new driver : )
