What do you mean it never happens?

I have no clue what that's trying to show either.

(Roll up the Rim to Win is the big Tim Horton's marketing thing...but it doesn't show what he won or didn't win...)

it shows that he won. that's the caption. it almost never happens. 🙂

Ohh I skipped right to the image. My bad!

Come on, you occasionally win a coffee. That's always fun!
a guy here in crystal beach won a toyota camry hybrid. he took a picture with the franchisees........................and then sold the car back to the stealership the same day 😀

Last year I drank over $3500 worth of their coffee to try to win something. I just got donuts and more coffee. Better than Starbucks though.

what's your favorites at tim horton's? I think the honey-glazed and lemon donuts there are terrific.

Medium double double, large BLT, maple dipped donut. $8.13 before they changed the taxes in Ontario. Don't know what it is now, haven't eaten there in a few months.

Not really. I was just in BC and AB for almost a week and went to Tim's a few times. Nothing to write home about. Their coffee is meh and their donuts aren't as good as Dunkin's (or Krispy Kreme's). Although the iced lemon drop donut was pretty good. Oh, and their bacon/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich was surprisingly decent.

Timmy Ho's is teh awesomeness.

I've been to a bunch of locations in BC, Ontario and New Brunswick and they never fail to deliver. On track trips, my teammates and I would often eat multiple meals there - bagels, fruit muffins and juice and coffee for breakfast, and sandwiches at lunch.

Sweet value too - $1.20 for a medium coffee!! Used to get those all the time to stay awake in my evening classes.

Boston Cream and Maple Dip FTW!

i remember how hockey was in canada, its nothing like that here in us.
i wouldn't mind cheap coffee though.
atleast here in ca donut shops are way out of fashion. they are getting hard to find, all replaced with starbucks. krispy creme died as well...but they sucked so thats fine.

no they are moving vertically down from canada.

some facts off the top of my head at 1am:

1. tim horton was a hockey player who created this empire in the 60s with ron joyce
2. store #1 is in hamilton ontario
3. tim horton died at martindale rd in st. catharines ontario while driving to a sabres hockey game
4. head office is in oakville ontario
5. their slogan is 'always fresh' but don't count on it
6. they are just starting mastercard in canada but have been accepting credit cards in the US forever
7. they find new ways all the time to start cheaping out on things (donuts, cookies)
8. i used to work at a couple
9. the coffee is alright. i mostly drink tea. steeped tea there is not so great if you're not masking the taste with milk or sugar
10. i dunno, try it

11. Tim Horton's widow a raving alcoholic sold the franchise for a song.

Let's see, 10 minutes for the nasty cashier to take my order, 10 minutes waiting for a donut and a sandwich while they take care of the drivethrough in under 30 seconds, stale bread, and stale donuts made from frozen dough twice a day.

Yeah, they're great

Why would you need Tim Hortons when you have Dunkins?

I also have a Coffee Express and a Starbucks.

I like to switch things up.

For example: Starbucks normal cofee has a nasty undertone, so I drink Frappuchinos and Machiottos there. Dunkin has a nice Latte, but if I'm on the other side of town I go to Coffee Express for a better one. If I commute with my lady I'm only near a Tim Hortons so I wanted to see if it would be good, and we're commuting together later this week so I'll go right by one! =D

My wife likes their coffee.

My son likes their Ice Caps.

We all like the Timbits 🙂 and their bagels, but have had mixed results with their "full size" donuts though.... at least here at the local one.
