Does Tim Horton's Rock?

Ya, Timmies is pretty good. I'm amazed that in recent years, they've managed to expand like the plague. There's one on every corner now, and they even managed to "embed" themselves in the culture to a degree.

Their coffee is pretty good, I LOVE their soup/chili/sandwiches. Donuts, timbits and cookies are the best I've ever tasted, which may or may not be sad.

Tim Horton's is ok, the coffee is fine, but the donuts have been awefull since they changed to the pre-made frozen donuts...it was much better when they where made fresh in-store, now they are the same in every-store and much smaller.

This may be blasphemous for a Canadian to say, but Timmy's sucks. 😛

I like Second Cup - they have good coffee (rather than the hot water found at Timmy's), the atmosphere is that of a real cafe (rather than the McDonald's feel of Timmy's) and they lack that horrible veneer of pretentiousness that Starbucks has.

I went into Tim Horton's when i was in Michigan recently. I was unimpressed with the coffee, but I had some pastries that tasted freshly baked instead of reheated.

I got back home to Colorado and was shocked to see the local Krispy Kreme closed up and out of business.

Tasted better when it was still Canadian... sniff...sniff. After going public, the food still didn't go back to old way... I guess the Wendy's cost saving method was good.

XL 3cream two sugar + Croissant is my breakfast.

They bake on site but with frozen ready to bake shipped in from central distribution. Used to be all made in store. I miss those days.

X-Large regular with a whole wheat bagel, toasted with butter, cheddar cheese and tomatoes, 3.86$ 😀

You are not Canadian if you don't go to Tim Horton's. It's pretty funny when a Tim Horton's entrance needs an intersection light because it's so damn busy. It's not uncommon to see an accident right outside as cars come and go since the cars going through the drivethru extend to the streets.

Yep people turn into complete morons trying to get their Tim Horton's in the morning, taking up a car lane to turn into the drive thru even though it is jam packed full....god i hate that place.

Why would you need Tim Hortons when you have Dunkins?

Because Dunkins coffee is disgusting. Because Timmy's offers more than just nauseating donuts, freshly made. And it is relatively cheap - their sandwiches, chili, bagels (gotta have the 12 grain!), baked goods are just really good, especially for the price.

Of course most americans are used to the disgusting amounts of sugar in all the plasticky drinks out there, and the nasty acidic milk/creme out there so if there's a fresh/natural product out there it's underwhelming.

you are mistaken, it's not sugar. They use high fructose corn syrup down there.

Best coffee. Ever. Life would be hard without my daily double double. I'll pass on the Starsux.

This is a joke right? Unless the Tim locations I went to recently were out of the norm, you're out of your mind.
