I want to connect a SATA hard drive to my computer, but my power supply is old and only has peripheral connectors. Is there a peripheral to SATA power adapter?

One thing I don't know why...Why can't PCI-e video cards and SATA HDDs simply use the good old 4-pin molex?

The same reason as to why we can't have a standard "plug" for the front panel connectors.
