You a smooker?
Depends, my everyday is my vaporizer, but I do smoke from pipes every now and then. It keeps me from taking much worse meds.

It's not like alcohol, which gets filtered out through your liver/breath/piss.
Have you ever tried to stop?
Hmm... Subtle sarcastic jab, or missed point?...
Not sure what you are referring to. While it's slightly off topic from what the OP is trying to troll, it's still slightly on topic 😀
I'm talking about the fact that smoke (tar/particulate matter) does not have a way of being filtered out of our bodies. Once it's there in our lungs it's there to stay.
Our bodies have a system in place that filters out and removes alcohol, not so much for physical objects in our lungs 🙁
Also, edibles or vaporizer my friend, no need to be smoking.
that filtering process kills the liver, so not really sure why you think that's fine...

Alcohol is worse in every regard, and yet not many people mind it.
That's with alcohol abuse (long term or short term), not for someone having a glass of wine.
No, it isnt.
Actually, it has been proven to be far worse than marijuana with long term use.
You should probably link a study or two since you initiated this back and forth by accusing others of making assertions without proof. 😉
Alcohol thus ranks at the dangerous end of the toxicity spectrum. So despite the fact that about 75 percent of all adults in the United States enjoy an occasional drink, it must be remembered that alcohol is quite toxic. Indeed, if alcohol were a newly formulated beverage, its high toxicity and addiction potential would surely prevent it from being marketed as a food or drug. This conclusion runs counter to the common view that one's own use of alcohol is harmless. That mistaken impression arises for several reasons.
Actually, it has been proven to be far worse than marijuana with long term use.
Wrong, man did not create alcohol, yeast did and your sky fairy made them also if that is what you choose to believe.
Thats nice and not the subject.
Dust said it was worse in EVERY WAY.
And its not. Not by a long shot.
Or long shit.
Are you really comparing apples to apples here? You're making a case for moderate weed usage, but not for alcohol consumption. IIRC, studies have shown moderate intake (with extra benefits should you choose red wine) actually extends life span.Well, marijuana use could cause some lung and respiratory issues, but again only if smoking excessive amounts. Alcohol to be fair can damage the body a lot more, just in different ways.

What else could explain their odd and dangerous behavior?
"We hypothesized that there would be a positive association between marijuana use and lung cancer, and that the association would be more positive with heavier use," he said. "What we found instead was no association at all, and even a suggestion of some protective effect."
I'm not arguing with you, just pointing out that moderation is the key here. In the very broad spectrum of usage, you are correct that alcohol is far more damaging to our society as a whole than weed. Naturally, someone is going to pipe up and say BUT DRUG-RELATED VIOLENCE AND ARRESTS, but of course that wouldn't be happening if you could just head down to your local Beer n' Buds franchise and buy some, right? What does excessive marijuana use cause? Slight respiratory impairment and lung issues, nothing major however, the decreased lung function is less than 10% and that's with extreme marijuana smoking, not heavy use, but someone who literally sits there smoking 1/4 oz or more a day, every day. Also, when these extreme users stop, the function comes back very quickly.
If you sit there drinking all day every day, within 3-4 years you'll probably totally fuck your liver.
I am not saying alcohol should be illegal, however it is far more damaging than cannabis but that is illegal, if we can be trusted to drink responsibly, why not smoke responsibly?
I could literally link you to easily 25+ studies showing negligible if any damage caused by long term marijuana use, but it seems you may have already made up your mind 😛

actually there is not really a solid trend with marijuana use and muggings, domestic violence, or ER visits, however alcohol use is quite easily linked to increased violent behaviour and increased risk taking as well as ER visits.
Drug-related violence I think comes more from the fact that you are having large gangs pushing the drugs and when they run into a rival gang, things get heated, with or without the drugs.
Just remember, alcohol prohibition, the Mafia grew in large part from that, is it so odd to think that maybe marijuana prohibition has done the same thing?
