Does NE1 else think that DC totally fooked up the Dodge Viper's styling?

I agree with most of you, the older design was much cooler - more aggressive and original, it far better described the car and its attitude as opposed to this new sebring/s2000 screwup look. It doesn't look HORRIBLE, but it isn't my idea of what a Viper should be.

I wouldn't pay a lot for a car with that design. ;)

I think DC should make a transparent carbon fiber hood, the engine should on display so everyone can see the V10 brute that propels this car!

When I first saw it, it looked so much like a sebring convertable that I thought the link was wrong. I don't like the new design. Like a lot of people, I think it doesn't have as much of a "raw power" look to it.

NFS4, I agree whole-heartedly. The older model Dodge Viper was one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. It had great curves, and had a style all its own. Now It looks like a combination of a few Japanese sports cars. Gone are the rolling curves and the fin that topped off the look. What a shame.

I agree. I won't go so far as to say it's ugly (it's not that bad), but it does NOT look like a Viper.

Well, what did you expect once DC fired and/or alienated all the top design, engineering, and management talent at Chrysler? Surely you didn't think DB resources would come to the rescue did you? They have literally gutted a once-great company.

The only good to come from this is that now the Gales are on my team ... :) :)

It looks good, but it's too clinical in a German or Japanese way.
It seems more refined, but the beast factor is gone.
