i wasnt sure if mazdaspeed counted as a peformance line. ive been searching around and havent really been able to find anything for mazda

As you know, I've been a V8 Mustang guy forever Steve, but test drive a Speed 6 just once, and tell me you don't like it.

I will agree the whole zoom zoom thing is retarded...

Right now the Mazdaspeed 3 is a pretty nice car. Lightweight, plenty of horsepower, and not stupidly expensive. I've been pondering getting one for quite some time, but don't have the cash just yet. It has 263 HP, 280 ft-lb torque, and since it's lighter than other cars like the Mazda 6, there is even more added benefit.
Mazdaspeed3

The Mazdaspeed 6 is the more expensive version, but there seems to be an issue with it's performance not being up to the point it should be at. In a year or two they should fix the performance issues, but right now the Mazdaspeed 3 seems to be more bang for the buck.

263 HP may not sound like a monster car, but when it's a smaller car that's more than enough.
 
I dunno what this mazdaspeed is that everyone is talking about... but if mazda had a performance line, they should call it that! 😛

what was that movie where there was a bomb strapped to a SPEEDing bus and if its SPEED didn't stay above 60 mph, the bomb would go off? i think it was called "the bus that could not slow down..." 😀

Mazdaspeed is more of a performance line than two of the names you mentioned--Nismo and Mopar--at least in name.

There's a Mazdaspeed6 and a Mazdaspeed3, but no Dodge xxx Mopar, and only the Frontier comes in a Nismo edition.
