Does Marvell 9128 controller support trim?

"Two SATA 6GB/s interfaces through the Marvell* 88SE9128 controller (blue)"

Must be a mistake. The manual does not mention it.

Anyway, if you won't believe that you're running on the Intel SATA ports install Intel RST drivers and the RST application. If you can see your drive there, then it is running on the Intel SATA ports.

Since you obviously do not have an additional Marvell/MS AHCI driver installed, YOU'RE NOT USING A MARVELL CONTROLLER. I'm sorry, but I can't help if you're not willing to listen...

There could be multiple explanations why I can't see the Marvell driver which are more plausible than the motherboard layout posted by Intel themselves being incorrect.

The reason you can't find a Marvell driver on the Intel support page for your board is, that board doesn't have a Marvell SATA controller.

The SATA ports are connected to the H67 Platform Controller Hub, meaning they are all native Intel SATA ports, two of which are eSATA (red).

The blue ports are Intel native SATA 6Gbps

I see. So Intel don't know what brand of controllers they have on their own designs.

I'm sure Intel know exactly what is on that board, but the popup in your link is simply wrong, and wrong in a number of ways.

1, SATA is listed as ICH10R, H67 SATA is simply PCH.
2, RAID 5 is not possible using the two black ports, you require at least 3 HDDs for a RAID 5 array.

Download a trial version of AIDA 64, and under 'Devices' it will list exactly what you have on your board.
