No with 132 Avatars and 176,986 users there seems to be a built in assumption of duplication.

I love my fellow cows. I've never disliked anyone with the cow avatar. In fact, I usually get along with them better than other avatars.

I stay away from the American Flags, there's a 50/50 chance that they'll try to bring pointless political debates to just about any conversation...
Here here. Although most of the cows don't understand why we have a cow avatar available in the first place, they tend to be pretty laid back people. It's a cow after all, it's not something that's inherently popular.

I don't understand why I have the cow avatar.
The RC5-64 distributed computing project that AnandTech participated in. The logo for the project was a cow.;)

The flux avatars and the alien (seti) avatar are also from the Gamma Flux and SETI@Home DC projects respectively.

It's just confusing when someone shares an avatar with someone else you're used to. I wouldn't say it's necessarily annoying even though I accidentally voted "yes".

Yep on everything except the last part.

I must say I was quite happy to see I was the only wildcat in this thread though.

KT

Buy i thought you were MY wildcat ;)

Purrrrrrr....

Yeah that radiation sign gets me all hot and bothered. ;)

KT

You guys are scaring me.

Me too. Who knew something I posted would warrant this.

considering that there's a limited number of them and there's millions of members here, it's inevitable. you'd have some seriosu issues if this bothers you.

Except that 93% of the 176991 registered users (01/31/08) use the so called "blackman" avatar (aka "africanamerican") and are giving away free ipods.

First doc in the thread!

I think only myself and Safeway use it regularly.

edit: I think I'm a surgeon, specifically.
