I think the best part of the bible and scriptures and all that crap are the parts that say slavery is OK.
No, i don't agree with this.
That's an entirely different conversation, one which I would love to have via PM if you like (or you can start a new thread).

depends on the sect.
the official catholic line is that it's not homosexuality that's the sin but homosexual acts.
Any manistfestation, such as impure thoughts about the same sex would also be sin. But you have captured the mindframe. It's the same for heterosexual people, I love boobs. It's not a sin to love boobs, it's a sin for me to be lusting after women.

NO. Jesus was totally gay.
whether or not you agree with that, you can read everything Jesus is ever reputed to say, in any version of the bible, and Jesus never hates on homosexuals. the only person that does is Paul.
Paul never knew Jesus. Paul isn't a real apostle (b/c Jesus was dead long before Paul even became a "Christian.") The biggest bigot of the Bible is further from Jesus than even a guy like Dawkins.
According to you? Please. If we can all come to know Jesus through scripture and witness, how can you say "Paul never knew Jesus"? Paul was the greatest apostle of them all. Without him the Church wouldnt have spread as far and wide as quickly as it did. Only a "psycho whackjob" would think otherwise. And to insult Saint Paul during the year proclaimed by Pope Benedict as "The Year of Saint Paul" is sad.
🙁
Im curious, are you atheist?
Jesus was dead. He is correct, Paul never knew him.
"Acts 9
1And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. "
Paul most certainly did know Jesus.
