Cyber Monday, otherwise known as "The Monday following Black Friday" doesn't make sense to me anymore. During a time when a lot of people didn't have home internet access, but did have internet access at work, it made perfect sense. Why would people wait until Monday now? Or shop especially strong on any day for that matter?
Maybe I just didn't look hard enough, but I didn't see deals on anything that would interest me. As an awkward term for the media to print up, "Cyber Monday" is bigger than ever. According to the story Hitwise has sent to every media outlet it is bigger than ever. But is Monday really a big day anymore or are those just reflections on overall online sales growth?
