It seems that so many people these days are "offended" by many things. I am just wondering what offends people.

Personally, nothing offends me. I think it's one if the silliest concepts in human culture.
 
i have yet to find a topic or anything that has offended me. i do feign offense to some things my kids say/ do just to be the example of what they shouldnt say/ do tho.
 
The older I get, the less offended I become by anything.

The amount I get annoyed by people seems to be increasing at an alarming rate however.

THINGS alone don't offend me. People intentionally trying to offend me offends me. The same stuff could be offered up in a non-intentional context and I would not be offended.

Are you saying you believe one thing and teach your kids another? Or that later in life when your kids can understand the difference between obedience and decorum, they will understand why you told them not to do/say things that are widely regarded as offensive?

On the internet, no. But if you sat down next to me at a bar and started trash talking things that I cared about I might take offense.
