Blah blah blah blah

Seriously though, your posts are so exclusively talking points that I thought you were a bot. Nice to see you're not.
And of course I believe that Fox News is all you watch. You said that all the other networks try to control their viewers and only Fox doesn't. Those are your words not mine.

I have no idea what you mean by failed business models or Obama minions. I assume you're just desperately flailing personal attacks there.

That was kind of fun. :)

This is all theater here. None of us are gonna change each other's opinions.

Oh, keep it up, you little Obama minion. There is no network anywhere that calls people out the way they do. Do you seriously believe that Fox is the only network I watch? I mine my information from many, many sources. Again, there is a reason they are #1. You are entitled to live in your little bubble. Old people? How old are you, Dik? If Andrea Tantaros was my daughter I would be extremely proud of her. In the liberal world only old people watch Fox. No... young people are not all liberals, no matter what your party wants you to believe. Intelligent people will eventually come around, unless they are too old to learn. The business model you subscribe to has failed. You voted for the wrong guy. Sorry about that!

In the real world, median age for viewers of Fox News is 65, CNN is around 63, MSNBC is 59 and CNBC is 52.

For those of you saying you are for protecting women's rights and knocking these ladies in the same breath I got news for you. Most of these women have law degrees have written books were prosecutors worked with Supreme Court Judges as clerks. I guess by some of you statements a woman cannot be smart and good looking. I understand Anthony Weiner and Bill Clinton are holding a we support women forum sponsored by the we have no morals party. Nice to hear from you Moonbeam

They only respect the rights of the women they agree with.

Pretty indeed.

But, this would be like reading Penthouse while taking a nasty smelly dump; great to look at, but, you can't stand the shit.

The median Fox News viewer is over 65, which is several years older than competing networks.

"News audiences always trend old, and the viewers of Fox’s competitors are hardly in the full flower of youth. MSNBC’s median age for its prime-time shows this year is 60.6; CNN’s is 59.8."

So mostly just older people are watching the cable news shows...

If Fox news and Cable News in general are for old people.

Where do you children get your news from?

You can look at the article I linked, for one.

I like this part:

Just how old is its audience? It is impossible to be precise because Nielsen stops giving an exact figure for median age once it passes 65. But for six of the last eight years, Fox News has had a median age of 65-plus and the number of viewers in the 25-54 year old group has been falling consistently, down five years in a row in prime time, from an average of 557,000 viewers five years ago to 379,000 this year. That has occurred even though Fox’s overall audience in prime time is up this year, to 2.02 million from 1.89 million three years ago.

Even with the kiddies drinking the progressive koolaid and dropped off their audiance is still growing.

Yawn. This put them, at best, a distant fourth behind NBC Nightly News (10.5 million viewers), ABC World News (9.4 million), and CBS Evening News (8.4 million). (Week of Jan 27.) So yes, though Fox provides a safe bubble for its believers to hide within, it's a relatively small bubble.

By the way, while looking for current ratings, I also stumbled across this study. I haven't read through the whole thing, but the page I linked has all sorts of demographics data for a cross section of media. Yes, it does show that Fox shows have an older viewer base than most other news sources, but that's only a small part of their study. There's also an interesting section at the bottom of the first page comparing the current events knowledge of the audiences for different sources. Maddow's viewers top the list, and we can all unite in scorn for daytime talk show viewers who are the least knowledgeable.

Visuals are great but if I'm watching a news show I don't need some chick telling me the Earth is 7000 years old and Obama was born in Kenya.
