Oh ya.. there's also Howard Zinn's People's History of the United States, man that's one freakin powerful book!
oh ya.. I got a question, why the hell when you're in college you start reading some even more stupid books and other literature stuff? I mean, at least in high school we had to read like important stuff that is actually good.. like Shakespere's Hamlet or Hemminway's short stories or Heller's Catch-22. Or even Sophie's world, which is recent but hella good. But in college you start reading these noname writer's short stories and poems, and they arn't even good!! WTF? Boyle's The Tortilla Curtain.. man.. I had to read that in my last english class.. and I'm telling you.... the whole story is a freakin soup Opera! it's only like 400 pages or so (I'm a fast reader, I usually can finish a 400pg book in about a day's worth of reading), but it took forever because it's soo boring and soo much like a soup Opera.. I didn't know people would write this kinda books, and college would actually make you read them!
