It arrived. Installation was easy and straight forward. You hook both hot and cold water to it. This is a bummer for me because you'd have to run the thing an hour before the hot water made it to the bidet. But if you can stand the blast of cold water, it does an outstanding job. The aim is perfect and with a little rotational movement, it cleans the entire bottom area very well. It also has an enema function which is nothing more than a high powered blast of water that penetrates you as you sit. The instructions say to stop it when you feel yourself getting full and then expel the liquid (nope, I'm not making this up, it really says this). Think I'll pass on the enema part but the cleaning works very well. All you have to do is dry your butt and you're squeaky clean. There's also a container for some kind of female fluid but the SO will have to figure out what that is.
Bottom line (pun intended), it is very effective and works very well. Much better than I had expected.
which one did you get? mine you just hook up a split from where the water goes to the toilet tank, and
the other goes to the washlet into its own internal water reservoir where it heats it up like a hotpot. the water is always preheated in there, so even i just sit down immediately and decide to use the water spray its warm.[/q]
Seems like a waste of money/electricity to me.
For someone who only shits no more than 3 times a week for no more than 5-10mins at a time, does one really need access to preheated water in a bidet?
Aren't there any that are (or can be) activated when you sit on a toilet and within 5-10mins finish preheating the water?
I wouldn't waste money on a bidet that takes an hour to warm up.
I wouldn't waste money on one that stays warm 24/7 either.
