Does anyone here actually LIKE their job?

If so then post your job title and why you like your job. If you hate your job like I do then still post your job title and why you hate it. I'll start...I'm a systems admin for a pharmaceutical startup. I'm actually making more money than my last position and doing a hell of a lot less. As a matter of fact I haven't done much at all for the past two weeks. I hate the job because there are too many chiefs and not enough Indians. My boss is also way too soft to be an IT manager. He is afraid to enforce any type of policies whatsoever and I am the one stuck cleaning up the messes when something happens because he lets all the employees do whatever the hell they want to their machines.

My job's okay. I don't have to drive very far, it's air-conditioned, hours are flexible, and I just get to remove spyware all day (though today I'm actually doing something a bit more intriguing, replacing a cracked LCD screen in a Compaq laptop. "I dropped it and it broke" Right, like I can't see the knuckle imprints on the screen. Didn't tell him that though, just smiled and told him it would be replaced and repaired in a week.

Yes, I put the face paint on rodeo clowns. I like it because it allows me to express my artistic side.

I love my job, working for the feds as an IT Analyst. Plus, it helps(or maybe this is why I love the job) that there's about 4 or 5 people my age in this divison that I really get along with and look forward to seeing everyday. Even after 2 years.

I like the company, the job is okay (as long as it's email not phone). hopefully will be able to move departments in the near near future.

At one point, I hated my job, despite the perks I have. Conditions have improved significantly recently, so it's a lot more bearable and I no longer go home pissed off most of the time.

Software Engineer II (C/C++ for defense contractor)

Love it, usually. It tends to get somewhat tedious and dull at times. But the new projects are always cool and interesting. Solving problems through software architecture and design is fun!

I have two jobs, both of which I enjoy. I'm a computing consultant at the largest computing site on the U-M campus (~500 computers). I also work at the records department of my school's Department of Public Safety. It won't win any awards for excitement, but the people are great and it's fun to keep a police department's records organized.

Student Intern at University of Tennessee Medical Center. I haven't started yet, so I can't tell you if I like it or not. Ask me again in 3 weeks.

I work part time as a tech at an aerospace firm while I persue my BSEE. Basically I'm doing the type of work I invision myself doing after I get my degree. The work atmosphere is generally excellent and management is pretty accomodating.

I* hate mine. I can't stand my managers, or the people I work with. I rip people off everday, and I get paid crap (compared to most adults). Only plus side is that Im only 19, putting myself thru college, and get paid better than most college students. Job is pretty easy too.
