CHASE officially sucks. One thing i like about them is that the wait period when you call them is less than 10 secs :).

I believe the number you posted is for the CSS vendor. They do nothing but administer the program. I have called them at least 10 times and they can't/won't provide any useful information regarding CSS. They keep telling me to cal Chase. Get this, Chase tells me to call the vendor!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!!

that's stupid cause when you call that number it says Chase Member Benifits services or something along those lines. I asked the person on saturday 5 times if CSS was a chase program or a 3rd party program and the person kept on saying it's chase program and the number given is also a chase #.

When I called one of the numbers to get information about filing a claim I was told to call a different number. Chase seems to have the information about the plan features and the VENDOR administers the plan.

Go ahead and call and tell them you want to file a claim and see what they say. They asked me who issued my card.

FINALLY, I got my Chase Shop Secure Welcome package today.

Did anybody actually recieve the welcome package ?? I didn't try to file the claim cause I didn't really have anything official.

Here's how funny this crap has been...I received 4 (four!) separate copies of the Welcome Kit all on Friday! They had different dates on the enclosed letter but apparently they (Chase) waited until the same day to send all of them.

Now guess what? I have four letters that explainin Chase Shop Secure and welcome me to the program but when I tried to file a claim they told me my card (Chase Double Platinum) doesn't qualify!!!

Chase doesn't really have anything special to offer other than the Shop Secure program. I have the regular Platinum mastercard so I am hoping I won't have any problems but if I do I am going to close the account. At this point its simply not wortht he hastle.

Its pain in the butt to try switching to a card that qualifies and then enroll all over again.
