I have a six figure income with no degree, as a network engineer.
When people ask me what I have my degree in, I reply stating that I majored in computer science and math in college. It's not a lie, and people accept it.

A proposed major perhaps? A major is merely nothing more than completing certain courses. If you haven't completed them, then you haven't majored in it. That's what I think.
