Somehow you list fottball players as the strongest but the baseball players are the ones taking steriods? How exactly did you come to this conclusion?

And I disagree with you saying basketball players being more fit than hockey players.Having played both basketball and hockey for fun I have to tell you it takes a whole lot more energy to skate around playing hockey than playing a full court basketball game.

maybe if they stop beating the crap outta each other, it wouldnt require so much energy.:) haha, im just biased cuz i like basketball more, but serioulsly. the mental image i get with baseball players is the the huge arms with steroids. this might be the case for all the major sports, but this image stands out the most in my mind with baseball players.

It all depends. I think a good offensive slugfest is really entertaining. A great defensive showdown is about as exciting as watching paint dry.

I think it helps if you played baseball growing up. You understand the game better, and it brings back fond memories to kick back on a lazy Sunday afternoon and watch a ballgame. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

Personally, I can even watch baseball on TV (even though it's possibly *the* worst TV sports ever). I'm just sick like that, I guess. :p

Sport that requires the most strength and endurance: boxing.

In baseball the players sometimes don't look like they are in shape, but they have to train in a special way.

Pitchers can't build hard upper muscle, it jams up their arm when they throw. But they do work on their legs to get a good push off the mound. But they are weak hitters, but at or slightly above average runners.

Power hitters need good arm power and upper back muscle. And large leg muscle to push the bat around. But are a little below average on running, usually they are in the outfield.

Number hitters (lead off) work on overall body without doing to heavy on the weights, they need break away running and the ability to put the ball in play, not go deep. They are not great power hitters, don't expect them to knock one out. But they have good speed and play a lot of infield positions, or center field.

So baseball has a lot of different players. They all don't just run up and down a court doing the same thing. There is a lot of thought about what players to play and then what position etc...

Yes, it's boring. It isn't a game it's an endurance contest to see which team can stay awake the longest.
