Does anyone else categorically refuse to read YAGT's?

Message title pretty much somes it up. When I first started lurking last year I'd read them, but now it's once in a blue moon out of sheer boredom at work when I'll go take a look. And I always find what I'm reading is the same thread I read a 6 months ago, only the OP is a different person. Maybe it's because I see guys making a lot of the same mistakes that I made in younger years...

I read YAGTs for the replies. Some of them have me pissing my pants laughing.

Edit: YAGTs are guaranteed comedy. I'd go as far as to say they are my favourite type of threads.

i think they are amusing. I try to help sometimes, knowing full well that they will not even give a thought to my advice....eh oh well.

I will not read them. Even if some are REAL, they are so sad, i am never sure what to say... It's always the same issues, so whats the point?

I drop in mostly to abuse the whiny bitch who thinks his experience is unique and special and deserves attention from his online acquaintences...

Note to YAGT OPs:

Your experience is not unique. People have been getting dumped, cheated on, caught cheating, acting suspicious, found masterbating, moved out on, smothered, ignored, abused, lionized, loved, hated, loathed, teased, forgotten, booty called, and used for sex since Eve chomped on the apple and had her way with Adam.

Get Over It. Move On. Quit feeling sorry for yourself!

i think people like to read them. i know its kinda cool reading about other's (mis)adventures. its nice to know what mistakes i shouldn't make.

Now that, my friend, was an excellent reply 😉.

I love 'em. Reading something like "Girl 3 blocks away glanced in my direction for a split second - does she want me and what do I do?" never fails to cheer me up 🙂

For someone who has been here two weeks, you sure seem to know your way around...

I lurked for a while and am familiar with tech boards

it depends if the rest of the topic is attention-grabbing or if it sucks. i barely read long ones, and i barely read them altogether.

i also only read a small percentage of YACTs.

Quite a step to go from lurker to 20+ posts per day!
