Geez, poor dude... That dealership should GIVE him his electric blue SRT-4.

They should give him 50 of them.
I would never want to ride in one again myself.

People die in every type of car on every road in every weather condition. It's not the car's fault.

I'm thinking he's not going to want "his" Neon... probably something a little more intact. At this point he'll probably be getting an M1A1 Abrams, a nice retirement fund, and a sore face for the rest of his life. Poor guy though, having to go through that because of someone's irresponsibilty.

Damn, as someone in the other thread posted, what a HORRIBLE way to start the new year.

What kind of settlement could he expect...I don't think he'll be getting much money at all since I expect the dealership has some sort of clause to limit their liability. Interesting that the victim himself made no mention of "I'm gonna sue their asses off" in the OP.

If I were him, I would take an all-cash settlement and use it to buy a nice safe Volvo S60R AWD!!!

I've never had to sign a waiver or release paper to test drive a new car. The dealer will ultimately at least pay for his medical costs along with the money he should be making by not working, probably along with other costs. And just because you sign a form saying you waive your right to sue doesn't mean you can't.

yep, and by the time you get your password the thread you wanted to read is fvcking deleted

someone probably spoke the truth about the neon...

The thread was deleted, so you can't view it even if you register.

Anyone want to post WTF happened for those of us who missed it? Please? TIA.

basically this guy went for a test drive, and on the way back the salesperson drove the car (was speeding and whatnot) and wrecked BAD. Rolled it, the guys face was tore up bigtime.

Although, the pics at the yard where the car was towed was rather fishy. I dunno about you, but if that happened to me, my family SURE as hell wouldn't figure out where the dealer had the car towed, and go there to take pics while crying..

original link doesn't work. If it requires login, it's not worth reading. Thanks of the recent functional one though, sgtbuddy! That's pretty bad!

I dont think I will ever get to see the pics... they are not working on the recent link... that evo pic sure was funny though...
