Doctor refuses to do cSection, baby gets stuck...

Jokes aside, what a monumental fuckup if true. He pulled the baby's head off, then tried to cover it in gauze and hand it to the parents. WTF.

WTF, again? There was a recent article where that happened during a rough birth in Brazil. Since that article I keep having flashbacks about it and it makes me nauseous. Now it happened again. Bleh.

The first time I read the title my initial thought was that the baby's head had only gotten out and then the mom's vag somehow kind of... pinched it off.

Dear World,

Please make sure this doctor spends the rest of his "career" in health care washing dishes in a hospital cafeteria. Assuming he doesn't go to prison.

Thanks,

Dave

OH MY FUCKING GOD.

sigh wish i didn't read that. oh and IF this is true the doctor needs to be killed. not sitting in jail for murder (witch should happen) but tied up to a tree another rope around his neck tied to a horse..then see how long it takes to separate...

this is really unbelievable. then he gave the baby to the parents? ...

amazing.

btw i volunteer to ride the horse.

Do doctors normally present a dead baby to the parents, regardless of how it died before/during/immediately after birth?

And I know a baby's bones are fragile, but is there skin and other tissues that much more fragile too?

I figured it was a case of internal decapitation until I read further into the article. He popped the whole head off? How hard is he pulling?! Holy shit!! D:

But yeah, is it normal procedure (ignoring taping a head back on) to wrap the baby up, present it to the parents, and say, "Here's your kid. Sorry it died. You want to hold it for awhile, or should we cart it off now?"

I'm having this visual of the doctor pulling so hard, when it popped off the doctor fell backwards into a bunch of equipment. Kinda like letting go of someone when you are battling them in tug of war.

What do you mean the baby is dead?

Duct tape holding the head on? I dont know anything about that, must have been a nurse.

Horrible situation I wouldn't wish on anyone, but that visual made me quite literally LOL.
