As a guy, I get ANNOYED when people notice I got my hair cut. I think it has something to do with me having a low tolerance for people pointing out the obvious.

I've developed a good response though.

Captain Obvious: Oh, you got a haircut!

Me: Actually, I got ALL of them cut. *Walk Away*

Okay, time for the guys to fess up. For girls, tears are like sneezing sometimes. It happens, not always about something, whatever. (Someone should invent a stock phrase, like guezundeit (sp?) for female crying🙂) So although you don't often cry just at random like us femmes, do you/have you cried on shoulders at times? Over what?

It's happened a few times... when my aunt died, when my gf said she was gonig to move to Florida, when I was having some "issues" with my dad..... times like that.

A ggod friend of mine died last May at age 16. Since then, I've been able to cry at will. Whenever I see the last name I get tears. But that's about something, so prolly doesn't count.
 
There are pefectly acceptable times to cry, like deaths or your BF cheats on ya. But dropping your frankfurter on the ground is not. Then again I haven't had a gal in a few years 😛 Not lowering my standards just for companionship though.

Yesterday was supposed to work on this paper with a girl, but she didn't feel like working on it. She was talking to her girl friends and ended up crying because she didn't know if her new boyfriend was the right one for her or not. Guess what? F%@K YOU. Royaly pissed me off. This is twice now this has happened. Screwing me on a project because someone dies is ok, but this piddly sh!t has to go. Last week she was supposed to do a paper but didn't because she went out of town with her friends because she "never has any fun". F'ing emotional BS. Had to end up doing her part of the work. I won't put up with that. I told her she is on her own for the rest of the semester, doubles her workload. She needed me because she doesn't have time to do all the work by herself. Too f'ing bad. Get a hold of your emotions you weak ass and get to work. We'll see how the rest of the semester goes for ya.

just fyi... there's a good chance he did notice, but just didn't say anything about it. at least that's true for me... i've had girls get pissy because i allegedly don't notice things. but no, i notice them just fine, it just never occurs to me to say anything about it.

My last g/f had two general states of mind.
Ok, and completely screwed up.
Depending on the day she would either be happy or completely sad....from and outside standpoint a crying girl is very....endearing, but from a personal standpoint it's about the last thing you want to see, my ex was soooooo unbelievably cute when she cried but heartbreaking nonetheless.

Women....so conflicting....
 
I've only seen my gf cry only once during our almost-4-year relationship. It was after I yelled at her for something she had no control over... I felt terrible about it afterward. Other than that, she's the sensitive type who doesn't seem to cry much. I try to catch her during sad moments in movies... only a couple times though. Strange I think.

I cried a lot when I was much younger. Almost every sad story made me cry. I even embarrassed myself in my high school world history class as I watched movies about historical events. 😱 I was extremely emotional when I was much younger.

Sometimes it's tears of joy. . . .

I learned not to be a crybaby. Hehehe! But I'm afraid I'm too stiff now . . . it now takes a lot to make me cry. However, I still weep a lot and can't control it when I hear very sad stories . . . even on movies like Adam Patch.

I didn't cry in this case about this guy, but I bet if I saw the movie and witnessed the events unfold I would cry . . . weep like hell. 😱

Actually, I did know that PMS starts before the period, but we're still a good week and a half before the period, so I didn't think it would be starting just yet, but perhaps happy fun week is coming early this month. 😛

I think in her particular case, it's just that she's an extremely sensitive human being for a few understandable reasons. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same situation within the last few days. Thanks for all the replys! 😀

Awww... come on. You can't call me all wrong. As girls in the thread have said here, a lot of them are not regular criers. I don't think there's anything wrong with a girl that does cry, but it's not like every one of them is a crybaby and I'm wrong about it. Saying that every girl cries that often is quite a stereotype that I'm willing to avoid. 😀
